How do I apply tooth gems?

It’s easy — no appointment, no drills.
1️⃣ Start with clean, dry teeth (super important).
2️⃣ Pick your gem and place it using the tools in your kit.
3️⃣ Cure under UV light for about 60 seconds.
4️⃣ Smile. You’re done.

👉 Full step-by-step tutorial is available on our How to page or via the QR code inside your kit.

How do I remove tooth gems?

Soak your gem area with warm water or mouthwash for a few minutes to soften the bonding gel. Then, gently slide dental floss or a wooden cuticle stick under the gem until it loosens.

✨ Tip: Never pull or force it off — patience keeps your enamel happy.

If you have dental work, metal sensitivities, or oral conditions, consult your dentist before applying or removing gems.

How long do the tooth gems last?

With proper prep and curing — clean teeth and a full 60 seconds under UV light — your gems can last up to 2 weeks, sometimes longer with touch-ups.

Want a shorter wear? Simply use floss to pop them off anytime.

Will the gem, resin, or gel harm my tooth?

Nope! Our bonding gel and resin are non-toxic, enamel-safe, and designed for temporary wear.
Just follow the instructions carefully and avoid long-term, continuous use without breaks.

For more info, check the safety disclaimer below and on our “How To Apply” page.

Are these safe on veneers or dentures?

We recommend applying gems on natural teeth.
Veneers, crowns, and dentures have smoother surfaces that may not hold the gems securely, and we can’t guarantee residue-free removal.

Does the UV Bonding Liquid or Cleansing Gel have a taste?

Our formulas are low-odor and nearly flavorless, with a clean, light feel that disappears once cured.

You might notice a slight bitter or sour taste during application. Don’t worry, it fades quickly after you rinse your mouth.

⚠️ Important: Be sure to thoroughly rinse your mouth with water after application. Do NOT ingest the UV Bonding Resin or Cleansing Gel. If more than a pea-sized amount is swallowed, contact a doctor immediately.

How old do I have to be to wear tooth gems?

We recommend 13 years or older, or with parental supervision if younger.
This ensures safe handling of UV light and adhesives.

Does it hurt to apply a tooth gem?

Not at all! There’s zero pain, zero drilling — just a quick cure under UV light.
You might feel a slight warmth while curing, which is totally normal and temporary.
